They came out, measured and talked to me about what I wanted. They emailed me a detailed estimate excluding materials then followed up with a phone call. I then went to their showroom and picked out tile tile I wanted, bringing two samples home to make my final decision. I didn't even have to take the tile back to them, they came by the house and picked it up. I was pleased that they didn't try to talk me into really expensive tile or borders that I didn't need. FANTASTIC WORK! Before we found Designer Lifestyles LLC our bathroom was a disaster... now it is beautiful! We had our bathtub/shower area tiled with 24"x24" porcelain tile to the ceiling, installed 18"x18" floor tile extending it into the closet area and added a rain shower. <br /> If you need tile work done, ask for Ty! All the guys did a great job but Ty gave a meticulous attention to detail. Designer Lifestyles exceeded all our expectations .... very quick to answer calls/emails, right on time every day, and great workmanship. The guys were all most professional and friendly. We were very impressed with how they cleaned up the work area before leaving the job each evening. The minor punch list items we had were all addressed in a timely manner. We are so pleased with the project that we have requested a quote for our family room and a bedroom. We are looking forward to working with the team once again and would highly recommend Designer Lifestyles for any tile or flooring project. Oh and I should mention we had ten days from start to finish, Designer Lifestyle finished in 5 and that was from estimate, to choosing, ordering and receiving the tile to the completed project. I enjoyed their company so much I hated to see them go.
I supplied the tile. They promised me they were experienced and knew how to lay wood plank tile. I was very upfront about wanting a 3/16th grout line. They assured me they could do it. <br /> <br /> They were punctual and courteous. They worked very hard and were respectful and tried to please. However, they really didn't have the patience or experience to do it properly. Customer initially requested a reduced grout line width, which was less than the manufacture’s minimum recommended width, for this particular tile which they had selected. We advised that this request would void some of the manufacture's warranties, and that we would not be held responsible, the customer stated that they didn't care, and still wanted the reduced grout lines.
