Appointment made in March for 3:30. Still waiting for the physician to come in, it is now 4:45. Office Manager said it could be another 30 minutes to an hour and a half before the physician appears. 88 year old patient already had her eyes dilated and was not informed of the wait. Got a condescending spiel about the national average wait time. It is freezing in the office. Very unsatisfactory customer service. Will not be returning to this facility or physician.
I Do NOT recommend going to Discover Vision in Harrisonville. When I called and made an appointment, I provided my insurance information and was informed they accepted it. When I took my son in for his appointment, I provided my insurance and Vicky informed me the visit was fully covered and there would be no payment. The assistant and Dr. Vogel were nice enough, but had difficulty with my 5 year old so couldn’t do a full eye exam and recommended I take him to a pediatric eye doctor next year. What a nightmare. Discover Vision has lost my business for eternity after the negligent and downright lazy practice they showed today. Telling people that you have a pediatric specialist does NOT mean you do the following: 1. Make a three year old sit in a waiting room with literally no toys and 30+ older adults for over 20 minutes past your appointment time when you arrive ten minutes early. 2. Discover is great and I always have good service. The workers are helpful and Dr. Rob is great.
Dr. Tovey and Dr. Rob are both great. The staff is friendly and efficient. Great place to go.
