Being a medical dr and not an optometrist increased our trust that he would have the knowledge to care for our eyes going into older age. We were right! Very knowledgeable, educates and is not threatened by questions. My husband was very happy with the outcome of his cataract surgery last year. Highly recommend
He diagnosed the need for the surgery. Explained it in detail. Scheduled it. The day of surgery he explained what was going to be done in detail. Answered my questions. Explained what he was doing during the surgery and what I would need to do post surgery. In the follow up appointment he examined me and said everything looked great and successful. As a Type 2 diabetic, I appreciate that Dr. Dawson always keeps my family practice physician informed with the details of my visit and eye care. He is thorough in his examination and patient in answering questions and providing explanations. He and his staff are very courteous and accommodating.
