About Dogwood Canyon Nature Park "Promote and protect the natural environment of the canyon’s wildlife and plant life." Aside from a few amenities to make Dogwood Canyon Nature Park more accessible to our guests, the rugged landscape has been left untouched and, with just a little imagination, you can travel back to a time when European settlers first entered the area or, even further, to explore the mark that Native Americans left on these Missouri hills and hollows. Beautiful location, and friendly people. We went on the tram tour, and would definitely recommend it. Feeding the bison, elk, and longhorns made the cost totally worth it. We all enjoyed it, even my preteen daughter, and 8 and 10 year olds. Lunch at the Mill was great too. We'll be back!
Great place to calm your nerves and enjoy the pruned natural environment. Paths are paved and easy to negotiate. My daughter runs the paths when she is at her Table Rock lake house. Beautiful new mill house with a restaurant.
This place is beautiful. Trout fishing is fantastic - we chose catch and release, but you can keep and pay by the pound. Stunning scenery.
Our annual cousin reunion took us this march to Branson. We ended up here for a day and everyone enjoyed it. Some rode bikes ( the path crosses into AR!), some took the Segway tour, we walked, had lovely lunch outside as it was unseasonably warm (so thankful for 70's & sun) so some even fished! They caught 7 good size trout in less than an hour so we enjoyed fresh pan fried trout for dinner later that day. If you enjoy the outdoors, this is a beautiful place.
My husband and I have a season pass. Love walking in the canyon and watching the seasons change. I do think that a $10 entrance fee is too much.
Wonderful place for kids if ALL ages. Beautiful and relaxing.
