About Dogwood Canyon Nature Park "Promote and protect the natural environment of the canyon’s wildlife and plant life." Aside from a few amenities to make Dogwood Canyon Nature Park more accessible to our guests, the rugged landscape has been left untouched and, with just a little imagination, you can travel back to a time when European settlers first entered the area or, even further, to explore the mark that Native Americans left on these Missouri hills and hollows. Very beautiful place. Can't wait to go back in the spring. We had a wonderful time. Yes it cost to to get in and to do things cost, but it's not a state park and I look at this park as a nature preserve and the money I'm spending helps preserve the animals and the beauty of the area.
If you are looking for something free, this is not the place. This is one of the most beautiful, serene places in the Ozarks. My wife and I were there on February 12, 2017 and it was 84 degrees and sunny! Fabulous! A great way to connect with Mother Nature! Family friendly for sure! 5 star experience.
Enjoyed the walk and loved the food. Was very beautiful and very pleasent. A must return
As much as people talk about disliking that you have to pay just to get in, it was pleasantly UNcrowded. To be experienced more than once. Escape to an Ozark Paradise .
It's a stunning place. Crazy you have to pay $10 just to walk through the gate and another $10 to walk trails.
Dogwood Canyon was absolutely gorgeous! The walking paths were wonderful and provide sights like water falls, crystal blue water, and even a few 'off the path' options to explore. I cannot wait to go back and explore again!
