About this business

About Dogwood Canyon Nature Park "Promote and protect the natural environment of the canyon’s wildlife and plant life." Aside from a few amenities to make Dogwood Canyon Nature Park more accessible to our guests, the rugged landscape has been left untouched and, with just a little imagination, you can travel back to a time when European settlers first entered the area or, even further, to explore the mark that Native Americans left on these Missouri hills and hollows. The first parcels of the property were acquired in 199... read more

The park is beautiful. We took the tram tour and our tour guide, James, was excellent. You could tell he loved the area, loved his job and loved sharing his wealth of information with everyone. We saw 5 bald eagles, bison, deer, elk, longhorn cattle and lots of huge trout. The scenery was so pretty, lots of waterfalls and grounds were immaculate. You can walk the path, bike or ride horses but you will not see the big animals unless you go on the tram. The fees were very confusing. We almost left when we thought the tram and ... read more

Rachel was a welcoming host as we enjoyed our tram tour immensely. She took time meeting everyone’s needs and went above and beyond. The 6-8 bald eagles we closely saw, the beautiful creek with its waterfalls, and the elk and Buffalo roaming the fields with their young all made for a highly memorable trip. We had people ranging from 5-90 in our group and fun was had by all. Highly recommended

Absolutely breathtaking and pure serenity!! It took us 4 hours and 21,000 steps to get through it all, but totally worth it! 😁

I cannot believe we have lived in this area for almost 12 years and never visited Dogwood Canyon until yesterday! We were so blessed to have such beautiful weather to explore! Drew was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating to his tram full of visitors! Thank you for providing such a beautiful refuge to enjoy God’s country!
