$15 a piece just to walk around! I mean they even charge to go INTO the restaurant! I think not!

Business response:

Hi Tammie, thanks for your feedback! The price of admission gives you access to the Dogwood Mill & Artifact Display, Canyon Grill Restaurant, Treehouse (as seen on Animal Planet’s Treehouse Masters television series), Nature & Conservation Center, the ½ mile Hickory Ridge Trail, as well as walking & hiking on 6.5 miles of paved paths and 9 miles of trails. All profits from admission and activities go to the Dogwood Canyon Foundation that strives to conserve, protect, and educate those who visit Dogwood Canyon about the impo... read more

My review of the owner Johnny Morris. He sucks and he has no respect for history despite what you hear. Just look at his “restoration”of Dogpatch. It’s completely leveled in his quest for more money.

Ian was the greatest tour guide!!! Dogwood Canyon is so fortunate to have him on staff. We enjoyed the tram tour and seeing the wildlife and the bonus eagles. We were a little disappointed about the Sunday brunch needing reserved tickets but Ian’s expert knowledge as a tour guide made up for our disappointment.

An incredible place to visit! so many attractions that you can't hit them all up in only one day. I did my best to check as many off as I could though.

I had 2 tickets for a tram tour on Monday July 1 2019.It was the last tour of the day @ 4;00 pm. It started to rain @ 3:00 pm. The tram tour was cancelled. We went for a refund and there was a problem with the tickets, They said they had been cancelled but I still had the tickets in my hand. The refund was for the cancelled tram ride. They person at the desk said there had been a problem when the tickets were purchased and the transaction had been cancelled and reissued, but we already had the tickets and were not asked to r... read more

My family and I were attacked by a security guard accusing us of drinking alcohol on the tram ride. The alcohol we were accused of was lemonade. The security guard threatened to throw out my family if I didn’t throw out the drink. Please don’t bring a cup if you are going to Dogwood Canyon.

Business response:

Hello Shaun, we would like to speak with you further about your experience. Please send us an email with your contact information to info@dogwoodcanyon.org and our team will be happy to get in touch.

Kind of pricey and artificial. Very landscaped, which makes it look pretty, but far from a natural gem of the Ozarks. I guess if all you know is city life, you’ll like it’s manicured, “natural” look. Just don’t look behind the curtain and bring some money if you want to do more than walk. Given the area, it should be listed as $$$ not $.
