About this business

About Dogwood Canyon Nature Park "Promote and protect the natural environment of the canyon’s wildlife and plant life." Aside from a few amenities to make Dogwood Canyon Nature Park more accessible to our guests, the rugged landscape has been left untouched and, with just a little imagination, you can travel back to a time when European settlers first entered the area or, even further, to explore the mark that Native Americans left on these Missouri hills and hollows. We got married in Dogwood Canyon and it was the most magical day! The wedding planner there, Liz Farmer, was amazing and so helpful before and during the wedding festivities. I would HIGHLY recommend getting married there or even just going for a visit to see the beautiful waterfalls and scenery. Absolutely breathtaking!

Highly recommend the tram tour with Ian, bike rental and horse back ride! Back to basics and glorious majestic Nature! So thankful for this break and great adventure! Happy Labor day 2020!

Nice level walking trail with many sites to see. Waterfalls, Cave Openings, and lots of rainbow trout. We walked the roughly 3.5 miles one way (7 miles round trip) trail, leading all the way back to Arkansas with a creek pool full of Golden Rainbow Trout! You can rent bikes for the trail or ride a tram that stops in a few places and takes you to see bison and elk. There is even horse back riding.

It is a really nice clean environment with friendly staff. Disappointed that walking to the end would not result in seeing the animals with the general admission ticket. Additional $25 per person to ride the tram would be princely for large families.
