BEWARE!! We have been patients of dr.G for quite some time now since taking over the previous dr. but we recently decided to make a hard and sad choice and pulled our pets out of the hospital and took care elsewhere, where we know our pets are safe and away from harm, even when doctors arent present. We have a zero tolerance policy for that kind of behavior, and I will go back through our security footage to see if I can find any evidence of abuse by an employee. Second time using doko for grooming, never again, after them cancelling on us twice last week, we finally got to bring our dog in, she has to be given meds for this, so twice last week she was drugged up, thinking that probably isn't a good thing, so last night we drugged her again, and again this morning, this makes her basically unable to do much, we take her in , and leave, a few minutes later we received a call saying we cant do her, she's trying to bite, shouldn't a groomer with year's of experience be able to cope, and... read more
Had a sick little Kitten that needed to see a veterinarian and called to see if I could schedule an appointment. The receptionist was very rude on the phone and seemed not to care at all. Then proceeded to tell me the costs upfront which I was not even worried about the cost. If they are that rude on the phone, I definitely did not want them to take care of our family pet.
Dr Rivera was wonderful, extremely caring and thorough However, the office manager/ "head vet tech" was a complete lunatic. My cat had been shot in a freak accident and was in their office for 30 minutes before receiving pain medication. When I addressed my concern with the office manager she informed me SHE examined my pet and determined it was not "life threatening" and I did not call ahead. Absolutely awful, I will never return again. The receptionist with the red hair is as rude as all get out... No clue as to what she is doing and very rude and sarcastic. I will not recommend this hospital for your pets care to ANYONE!
Ever since the new owner has taken over the quality of the care has gone down. Now I find out that one of the young techs that I trusted was let go due to restructuring, I fear that the care of the animals will suffer. Not sure that the vet schools are graduating quality doctors anymore. I am definitely going to find a new doctor for my four legged family members and I suggest you do the same
I have been going to this veterinarian clinic for about a year having my dogs nails groomed. I was informed there are no appointments for nail grooming, only walk-ins. A few weeks ago I took my dog in to have her nails groomed. While she was in the back I heard her yelp/scream really loud for the first time all the way from the front of the clinic . I've always taken my dog here. The staff is very friendly and they do everything in a timely manner. The reason for my rating is because of being misquoted on an estimate twice. Once in person and once over the phone. I ended up paying also $200 more than what had been given to me. I understand if it had just been a mistake but the lady who spoke to me on the phone handled it in such a nasty manner and tone. She also spoke this way with my mom prior to. I agree with Ben P. I was rudely spoken too. I took a pregnant dog in for a broken foot and was charged outrageously for procedures that I watch take 5 minutes. The vet seemed knowledgeable, but because of the poor customer service and rude phone calls I received afterwards about returning materials that I clearly paid for on my receipt I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I was treated as though I had never seen an animal before and respect is major requirement for me.
