The accommodation was just as described everything was very luxurious and finished to a high standard. We also had a message asking us if everything was ok - very thoughtful. Would recommend.

Great experience; much better than a hotel if - like me - you appreciate a bit of peace and quiet in the evenings. Little touches like availability of Netflix and the filter coffee machine / coffee supplies were much appreciated. Only thing I can think of to criticise in any way was that I would have liked a dim light in the living area for the evenings but I realised eventually that I could use the cooker hood for this.

A lovely relaxing break - really enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful log cabin - would have been nice to have had a bigger bbq - other than that really great place 😁😁

All the facilities were immaculate. Great location. Decor was fantastic. Would be great to have some instructions on the hot tub, but maybe I didn't look at where to find them in advance. Surrounding area is great - open fields for dog walks, cafes, restaurants etc. Would love to come back soon!

We had a wonderful time, our second visit to DownWood and we look forward to our next! Just a couple of resolvable maintenance issues, messaged DownWood directly. DownWood are so accommodating, everywhere is so quiet, both accommodations we have stayed in have been warm, contemporary and very comfortable, with the wonderful addition of a hot tub, well maintained by DownWood. We feel so relaxed and recharged, thank you!
