I had a combined pelvic and diaphragmatic endometriosis surgery with Dr. Gajulio and Dr. Ammara, and it completely changed my life. Before surgery, I experienced severe shoulder pain, shortness of breath, menstrual pain, and pneumothorax. The surgeons performed a coordinated thoracic and pelvic procedure in one day, and I woke up pain-free. Since then, I have had no pain, no shortness of breath, and no cycle-related symptoms.Their skill, precision, and compassionate care were exceptional. I highly recommend both Dr. Gajulio a... read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Gargiulo’s for a little over five years. We have two children via IVF with Dr. Gargiulo. I also have had surgery with Dr. Gargiulo for endometriosis. Highly recommend! He is kind and supportive

Business response:

Thank you for this heartfelt review. A holistic, lifelong approach to endometriosis, anchored in the reproductive experience, defines my entire clinical philosophy.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Dr. Gargiulo. From my very first appointment, he was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I understood the plan for my complex surgery and what to expect during recovery.I had a robotic radical excision of Stage IV endometriosis and a right ureteral implantation, a very complex procedure. Despite how extensive the surgery was, it went well, and I am deeply thankful for the incredible collaboration between Dr. ... read more

Business response:

I am grateful for this kind testimonial. Ureteral endometriosis can cause silent, acute renal failure; this patient was fortunate to receive a diagnosis before irreversible damage occurred. We were able to excise the diseased ureter and re-implant it into the bladder, a complex operation made possible only through expert MRI interpretation and meticulous planning. Every aspect of this surgery was mapped out months in advance. In endometriosis surgery, planning is everything.

I have been seen by 2 top IVF clinics in boston for the past 4 years and have done 6 rounds of IVF. All have resulted in 2 failed embryos transfers due to a low number of eggs retrieved and poor egg quality. I have been diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve and have poor egg quality despite being otherwise healthy with no answers as to why. I decided to advocate for myself and seek out a consult with Dr Gargiulo for silent endo. After talking to him he felt there was a high probability I had endo based on my infertility,... read more

Business response:

I am grateful for these kind words, and I hope this story guides others toward clearer, faster answers. Discovering Stage IV endometriosis after years of blind IVF was not exceptional: the clues were always present. The larger challenge is that IVF in New England remains widely endometriosis-blind, even in 2025. With one in three IVF patients affected, awareness truly matters.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Gargiulo. After years of struggling with pain and uncertainty, I finally found a doctor who not only listened but truly understood the complexity of endometriosis. From the very first consultation, Dr. Gargiulo made me feel heard, validated, and cared for.The surgery itself was life-changing- he explained everything thoroughly beforehand, and the care I received during and after was exceptional. His care team was sympathetic and understanding. My recovery was smoother than I ever ... read more

Business response:

I am humbled by my patients strength in facing the hardships of surgery. Seeing each case through their eyes taught me that healing begins well before the operation. By sharing knowledge and preparing together, we turn surgery into a true partnership. They entrust me with their lives, I dedicate mine to their care.

Dr. Gargiulo is a miracle worker! After years of struggling with infertility due to Stage 4 endometriosis and adenomyosis, and a failed surgery elsewhere, I had lost hope. Dr. Gargiulo’s thorough approach, including a multi-team surgical strategy, made all the difference. He listened, cared, and expertly addressed my complex case. I also proceeded to continue my IVF journey with him. Today, my dream of becoming a mom has finally come true, thanks to his skill and dedication. If you're facing fertility challenges due to endom... read more

I’ve had five surgeries with Dr. Gargiulo: tubal reversal, ectopic pregnancy, hysterectomy, excision for endometriosis, and most recently, a radical excision for endometriosis. From my first visit in 2015, I knew I was in the hands of a brilliant, caring surgeon. He truly listens and treats you like a partner in your own care. Even when I had to advocate for surgery, I appreciated his caution and honesty—he carefully weighs risks and benefits. I’ve always felt heard, respected, and safe. He’s kind, patient, and explains ever... read more

Business response:

I am truly humbled by this extraordinary testimonial. While shared anonymously, it is not anonymous to me, because the unique surgical journey described here could only belong to one remarkable woman. Over the past 20 years, this delightful patient has entrusted me with her care not once, but five times. That kind of trust is the highest honor a surgeon can receive. To be invited into someone s life repeatedly, across decades, is a rare privilege and a reminder of why I chose this profession.

Dr. Gargiulo exceeded my expectations when he performed a hysteroscopic Myomectomy on me a few weeks ago. He is so friendly and there were absolutely no complications during and after surgery. He is one that can be trusted for this surgery. This is absolutely the way to go vs radiofrequency ablation of a fibroid that other doctors do. 5 stars!

Dr. Gargiulo is the best! He and his team are all incredibly professional, kind and compassionate. I had robotic surgery to remove fibroids and endometriosis, and was able to recover fast. Soon after, I got pregnant and we have a beautiful baby. I am forever grateful to have had him as my surgeon.
