Before joining the Fertility Centers of New England, Dr. Gargiulo served as the founding medical director of the Robotic Surgery program of Brigham Health in 2010, and the founding director of American Society of Reproductive Medicine’s Surgical Scholar Track program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is also the medical director of the Center for Reproductive Care, and the founding medical director of the Robotic Surgery program at Exeter Hospital, in New Hampshire.

Back in 2018 Dr. Gargiulo removed a large endometrioma from me that was attached to an artery using robotic surgery. It was a very complicated surgery but he and his staff were so professional and truly amazing. Recently I learned that Dr. Garguilo will be transitioning to The Fertility Centers of New England, a private fertility center with a focus on reproductive surgery. He made sure to leave me in good hands but I will truly miss having him as my doctor.
Dr. Gargiulo truly cares about his patients and is remarkable at what he does. It would be hard for me to trust anyone else. Dr. G recently performed my surgery for a fibroid resection and endometriosis excision. If you have fibroids and are considering a laproscropic myomectomy, you must see Dr. G, the chances you also have endometriosis are very high. Such a great Doctor, but international patients employee advice the patient to change the doctor or the hospital which is really bad

To clarify this comment: I currently have a 6-12 month wait list for new surgical patients at Brigham and Womens Hospital. Direct referral through Internet search has caused an overload of my surgical practice, because of the scarcity of radical endometriosis excision surgeons and of true veteran robotic surgeons. I am working actively to reduce these long wait times, opening access at new hospitals. Please check my LinkedIn and other social media for future updates on my hospital affiliations.
He explained everything and removed my fibroids without removing anything else. All the other doctors wanted to do a full hysterectomy. Easy recovery and barely a scarring. I couldn’t have asked for a better result
I am so extremely blessed to have been connected with Dr. Gargiulo. I had a Robotic Myomectomy done 6 years ago at Brigham Women's Hospital, Boston by Dr. Gargiulo. No issues since then. Now i moved to NJ and still went back to Dr. Gargiulo to do a hysteroscopic polypectomy. Both surgeries went extremely well, recovery was smooth. I had been trying to get pregnant for four years before going to Dr. Gargiulo. He identified a 15 cm fibroid as an impediment to my fertility and recommended shrinking it with hormones for four months before performing a myomectomy to remove it. Dr. Gargiulo and his team are wonderful, professional, have the best bedside manner, and are truly the ONLY team that I would consider for this procedure! I was recommended to Dr. Gargiulo after going through IVF for preservation of embryos. I was asymptomatic, but ultrasounds and later an MRI showed that I had many fibroids, some that would potentially interfere with future pregnancy (intramural). We tried getting pregnant for about a year with another provider using IUI. Dr. Gargiulo was the first and only doctor to find and treat the endometriosis that was preventing a successful pregnancy.
