Dr. Lazar has been my dentist for 15-16 years. He's excellent at explaining and performing everything from standard fillings to bridges to crowns (all of which I've had done by him).
I hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Lazar is so great that I no longer dread it the way I used to! He is very patient, and willing to work with anxieties like mine. I recommended him to a friend, and she loves him too!
I had an appointment scheduled in June 2020. Dr. Lazar’s office pushed it back to December because of COVID. The day before my appointment, the office called to confirm the appointment and told me they stopped taking my insurance and would require full payment on the day of my appointment. The person said that they stopped taking my insurance back in May 2020. When asked why they waited to notify me of this change until the day before my appointment, they said that was not their job. Buyer beware! Long time patient. Needed a crown. Went for temporary and then back for permanent one. While sitting in the chair waiting on Dr. Lazar, his business manager came in and demanded full payment since they no longer take insurance or discount programs! Would have been nice to hear about that before having the procedure done. So much for respecting long time patients!!
