Dec 2014, left inguinal repair via old school (alleged proven) technique by a Chicago-land surgeon. I am an auto mechanic by trade and I was out of work for 6 weeks! Dr. Caravella repaired an extremely painful right inguinal hernia Sep 30, 2019. I was back to work Mon Oct 7! Dr Caravella did an amazing job replacing a failed inguinal hernia mesh for me. He is very professional in every aspect. His office staff was fantastic too.

Dr. Caravella is a fantastic surgeon. He is not just a great surgeon, he has a wonderful way about setting you at ease. I was not the easiest patient and he always made me feel as if I was not a bother. His staff is just as amazing. You can tell that they like working for this man, it shows in the way that they are so approachable.
He Saved My Life! I was at the Summerlin Hospital last year with appendicitis, and sepsis. Long story short, Dr. Caravella was the one who operated on me and saved my life. I can't say enough great things about this doctor. A true professional, and one awesome individual!
He is amazing! He removed my gall bladder easily without any discomfort (or pain medication). He also treated my large, painful varicose vein that required the extensive knowledge, & expertise that he possessed (& utilized) finally allowing me to live a life without the pain & discomfort in my right leg. Dr. Caravella has consistently demonstrated great compassion, persistence, & professional expertise throughout my 3 procedures at Elite Vein Center. This includes any future issues or concerns.
Dr. Caravella is handsome and courteous. Staff is very patient, knowledgeable and resourceful.
He is very personable and doesn’t keep you waiting. Did my surgery and was very attentive in the hospital. I would highly recommend him.
