Dr Caravella was wonderful, knowledgeable, with a great bedside manner. Office staff etc was horrible. Apparently systems between offices are not connected. I find this ridiculous in today’s world of electronics. They kept making me fill out packets of paperwork everytime I went to a new office. Also I was accused twice of not showing up for an appointment. I did come to that appointment and had my stitches out. This stuff makes them look terrible.
He was great and treated my daughter wonderfully.
Great experience with him and whole staff. Really put me at ease before and after hernia surgery. Was up and about in no time with minimal discomfort. Highly respect and recommend Dr. Caravella,

Very likely refer Dr.to family & friends. Has a modern, clean office &facility. Staff quickly sent me an email with a medical app. At appointment quickly checked in. Met Patient Advocate Heather about her tasks. She was friendly & courteous. Dr. went over my history, answered questions, his edu. & his use of robotic surgery. Set appt. for surgery. Appointment was relaxing; assuring. Met Dr. before surgery, kept family up to date on results; followed up. Went back to work in 9 days. no pain
Dr. Caravella performed my hernia repair surgery and I could not be happier. From our first visit, he put me at ease and really took the time to go through the entire process with me. The entire staff at his office was very helpful and got everything scheduled quickly. Surgery went smoothly and I was home within a few hours. He personally contacted me several times to check on my recovery. Friendly, caring and very knowledgeable doctor! Would recommend to family & friends!
Dr Caravella performed a hernia repair surgery on me and I would highly recommend him to friends and family. He was kind, professional and proficient.
My cardiologist sent a referral to Caravella, and so his office called ME to book a consultation with this guy. Waited a hour in the waiting room past my appointment time, which was the date and time that HIS office selected for me. In exam room, met by a student training to be a physician asst. She is the ONLY person we met. She leaves the room, comes back and states Caravella can 'do nothing', and sends her as the messenger because he can't be bothered to speak with me, nor tell me himself. If I could give zero I would! This guy and his team are extremely unprofessional and lie to people needing serious surgery. Zero communication and string people along! Horrible experience with him and his team.
