My PCP recommended Dr Shelby and I am very grateful that she did. My previous gastroenterologist liked to do procedures but didn’t seem to be really making an effort to help me feel better. Dr Shelby seems to sincerely want me to get better.
I am a repeat patient after 10 years from when I saw Dr. Shelby. Dr Shelby and his staff and the procedure went so well. I received excellent service from all of them. That's why my husband is his next new patient.
Practice is top notch, organized, competent, responsive and efficient and most of all patient friendly.
Had double procedure here after my husband recommended Dr. Shelby. Totally put me at ease, the staff is on top of things, and the team on the day of the procedure was excellent and very reassuring.

First colonoscopy and EGD ever at 65. Very good experience and the staff was professional, knew what they were doing and very compassionate. The preps are always awful, but no fault of the Physician; it's just the way it is.
He is kind and genuine doctor. Listen to my concerns.
Had colonoscopy and EGD...other than the day-before bowel prep (yuck) it was a good experience...arrived at 6:15 am and was in the car headed home before 8am...all went well ...and got a great report as well😊
I have been going to Dr Shelby for a long time. He is a good doctor. Very well mannered, calm and explains everything very well. His office staff is not great. Needs staff who is good dealing with patients. His surgery center staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
