Scans front and back simultaneously I love this little scanner. My favorite feature is that it does not need to be plugged into the computer. It can scan directly to its own memory card, and you can upload the files to the computer later.
Quick setup, compact, just works. Just... works - a bit of software and off you go. Compact, easy to use attached or on the go, software works well. Fairly intuitive to use.Use primarily to scan documents and receipts, has worked fine for drawings and photos. Does struggle with large hi-res scans - I've choked the buffer out. Bottom line, would recommend.

I give 3 stars because these are really great scanners with all the features I want and work ... Warning! When scanning when not tethered be SURE not to scan an item too closely after the previous one. If you do not wait for the feed motor to stop from the previous scan you will induce a permanent error that cannot be cleared and thereafter the unit must be used tethered. This happened to me on two units. Tech support from Brother and Amazon were not helpful - I mean the reps tried but were not really familiar with the equip... read more
