I ordered a 12 x 20 vertical roof carport. I was told by the dealer it could be 6 weeks before installation. On Eagle Carports website, my location is right on the fringe of their 5-10 day delivery zone. I received installation 7 days after my order date. I was very pleased. I had requested that the installation crew notify me 1 hour prior to arrival. That way I could leave work and be there when they arrived. The crew met that request. I cannot believe the quality of my new Eagle Carports building! The structural metal is a much higher grade than that of my previous building. The representative worked with me to design a 19' X 35' carport with 9' side walls, increased storage area and a roll-up door on the side of the carport. I am quite pleased with our design. Even though the installation crew was a day late, they did a great job!
Great over all experience. They had us scheduled within two weeks, and installed in five hours. The crew doing the installation really had everything together. They were very professional from beginning installation to the final cleanup.
COMMUNICATION *****. I'm now having to take over this battle because I feel like my father is being taken advantage of. Y'all act like Y'all can't get back to clients after they pay the deposit. My states permitting office emailed Nov 10 my father didn't get an email from a *** until Dec 10th and before that there was no communication and it's right back to that. Everything went well until the install. I asked for an 8 foot opening for my door and got 8'3". This now requires a custom garage door. My quote exploded +$1200 because of the custom order to the garage door.Eagle Carports told me to reach out to the installer for retribution...I did not pay the installer! If there was a zero star, I would have used that. They set up a contract for a new carport and scheduled my installation for a Friday at 4PM. On Tuesday, they called and rescheduled (even though they are the ones that picked that day). I had to redo my plans for following weekend which sucked because I already had plans set for myself. I left work early (losing income) to be there for their 4PM show up. At 4:30 I called their company asking where the crew is and they could not answer nor could they get ahold of them. If I was able to leave 0 stars, I would. Not a single man on the crew spoke English, so it was very hard to communicate. We bought a carport and in our contract, we agreed to 7-foot legs on it and that they would cut the legs on site to make it even since our driveway goes down in about a 7-inch slope. They did not cut them on site and will not refund the money for it. We paid extra for them to cut the legs on site and for the 7 foot legs. They used bricks around our home to level the carport. My barn was 35 x 45 and it looks like a disaster, I have wrinkles in my barn and Im totally embarrassed about how it looks. Cant believe Eagle carport does not want to take pride in their craftsmanship..I paid over 26K for a barn that looks 40 years old and its less than four months old . my barn came from Eagle Carports in **************. I am in the *******, ***** area no one wants to take responsibility from my barn..
Do not do business with this company or any of it sister companies. I bought a 24x30 building in 2018. The construction has been fine so far but the metal siding is fading badly and rusting. The company claims is has a 20 year warranty for the panels against discoloration and/or rust, but they WILL NOT honor their warranty. Heck they won't even give you a customer courtesy reply.FACT- I filed a claim with them on March 18, 2024.
