I think EVVC is professional, kind, and very caring. I've been a client for over 15 years and have always been satisfied with their service and expertise.

Business response:

Best Vet I have ever found. Caring and they offer great services. Especially love that they have laser surgery!

Business response:

Hi Robin, we appreciate your kind review and are happy to hear your pet enjoys laser therapy. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

I've taken both my 3 year old dobie and 5 year old tabby cat here for the past two years. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and you can tell they do their best to diagnose your pet without charging you unnecessary costs. Our dobie had to have a tumor removed from his foot a year ago, and they did a great job with minimal recovery time for him, and I've always been pleasantly surprised by their prices. They have very flexible hours as well.

This vet clinic is very much out of my way, but decided to take my animals there based on a recommendation from a friend. What I found was a friendly, kind, compassionate, and extremely empathetic staff. Dr. Nicole Butler is an excellent vet who genuinely cares for her patients and their owners. Best vet experience I've had in Salt Lake City.

Because we foster, I am used to going to various vet's offices to obtain medical care for our charges. East Valley Veterinary Clinic is our personal vet, and the one we will always use for our own dogs. EVVC is where I am willing to pay to take our fosters to as well. EVVC without exception is informative, thorough, caring, and an overall great experience for both pet and guardian.

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our hospital on Yelp, Jennifer! We are truly honored to be trusted with the care of your furry friends and those that are with you for only a short time. Being a foster parent to animals is such a rewarding experience yet often underappreciated and we thank you for choosing East Valley to be your partner in your pets health and well-being. On behalf of the entire staff, we thank you for your kind words and look forward to seeing you again soon!

I took my cat to East Valley three years ago to receive her vaccinations and to establish a relationship with a doctor so that IF she had future needs we would be all set up. That first visit was fine, and she has had no medical needs since then. The clinic has been sending me non-stop emails for these past three years, including the most recent reminding me of the need to have her vaccinations updated. However, when I called the clinic to make an appointment, I was told that "Due to inactivity, my account had been termin... read more

Prices are ridiculous for pet care now. Forget coming here or anywhere in the Salt Lake City valley. Apparently Vets now a days think we are all made out of money and can rip everyone off.

I've been going here for a few years, but a new policy has me never going back. It seems East Valley is now prioritizing profit by requiring unnecessary medical procedures. One service I have valued for over a decade is the non-anesthetic teeth cleaning. My previous dogs had this done for 10+years. Now East Valley tells me my new dog must undergo anesthesia for a cleaning every 18 months in order to do the non-anesthetic cleaning. This is completely unnecessary and puts animals at risk just so I have to pay out loads of mone... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback. In no way are we prioritizing profit. We are prioritizing the pet's health. The anesthesia-free dental is a service we provide for clients that stay on routine dental every 2-3 years. The anesthesia-free dental is a basic cleaning. They do not take X-rays. We want to monitor patients' dental progression every 2-3 years under general anesthesia. At that time, x-rays are taken to ensure no underlying issues cannot be seen. The anesthesia-free dental again is basic cleaning... read more

Terrible Service. When my pet was in trouble there was no adequate response and a suggestion sending me to a clinic in West Valley City. It was an emergent situation and they placed me in a run around that was not in the best interest of my pet. Truly horrible.

Business response:

We apologize for the negative experience you had at our hospital. We last saw your pet in October 2022 for one visit. If you did call in with an emergent case, we always offer a drop-off option if the doctors can take on extra cases. If they cannot see additional cases, we provide our sister clinics and ER clinics to ensure you have options to get your pet seen. Thank you for your feedback.
