poor service. I was unable to get my vet to call me back even with offering to pay an office visit fee. my dog is suffering and they had no compassion. poor people skills! never could talk to the vet. I would not recommend them.

Business response:

Hello Joe, Thank you for your review. We did offer multiple times to get your dog in to be seen. We offered a drop-off appointment you declined. We offered you to come in over the lunch hour you did not show up. You requested that we just prescribe the medication that was given to you in 2021. My technician then thoroughly explained why we cannot just prescribe the requested antibiotic from 2021. You stated your dog was diagnosed with testicular cancer by Medvet ER. We cannot just prescribe medication without examining the p... read more

Its impossible to speak to a vet. Communication is a joke and they don't seem to care: I have read past reviews and I thought could it really be that bad: yes it can and it is. They don't care they apologize and brush it off. Communication regarding your pet is a HUGE DEAL, Pets are your family! If you want a vet that you will pay hundreds of dollars to with zero communication after this is your place.

Business response:

Alie, per our several emails on 9/13 I have informed you that you are not in the PIMS system and neither is Bella. We do not have a client Alie Smith and the number is not in the system either. Per our email conversation you said you sister brought her in and you have still not provided the name of your sister in order for me to review the account. I cannot help you if I do not have any information to go off of. We are trying to resolve the issue that you have brought up however without a client account this is impossible.

Ai! I am a Marine Corps Veteran and have a insulin dependent service dog. A few minutes ago while working at my firehouse just down the street from East Valley Vet Clinic I realized that I left my dogs insulin at home In Heber. I am on a 48 hour shift and can't drive to Heber to retrieve the insulin so I called East Valley Veternarian to see if I could get a some insulin from them. They were happy to help and seemed to understand my dilemma. I arrived and in seconds they had my insulin ready. When they told Me the price of ... read more

wish I could leave no stars. We brought our 10 week old sheepdoodle in because she was constantly crying, peeing, and in pain. This place did X ray, blood work, and a urine test. Charged us $615 and gave us no result. I showed the tests to a friend of mine who is a vet tech and she tells us it looks like a UTI. seriously?! Also they forgot to give us our puppies pain medication, they called us the next day and said we needed to come get it. Do not go here. They just give your puppy a ton of drugs, they do not care about your... read more

Every encounter we have had here has been negative in some way. While the vet, seemed super wonderful and spoke in great detail to me about what needed to be done for our dog- she also had me wait - with my baby girl who was 6 months old - for nearly 3.5 hours for my dog while they sedated him to take X-rays. This wasn't something we were prepared for as normally we are able to leave our dog if he needs to be sedated to have a procedure and I wasn't told this until after his sedation occurred. The entire first interaction wa... read more

I've been bringing my pets to East Valley since 2005 and Dr Wilson was the vet here. Today I called to make an appointment (12/17/18 @11:17am) and the woman on the phone was so ridiculously rude that I have decided to take my pets to a new vet. I gave her my name, she asked if we were new, I said no we have been patients for years since Dr. Wilson, she couldn't find us by pet name, made no effort to verify that she spelled our last name correctly (its 11 digits and not common), and said that we had to become new patients t... read more

We came in because our dog tore his paw. They told us we had to drop him off, so we filled out the form to do so. The last section of the form had a fill in for "We can preform services up to $___ amount while you are away." We put in $50. We were told to come back to pick up our dog in 2-3 hours. We went grocery shopping and drained the rest of my paycheck, and get a call from EVVC. The doctor told me "hey, I am having trouble finding the tear on your dog's paw, can you come back to show me where it is?" Are you kidding? O... read more

Thank goodness for second opinions. We noticed a red lump on our dogs paw and took him to East Valley to have it checked out. The Dr looked at our dog for a minute or two and then took a sample to send to a pathologist. Even after we received the pathology reports showing sarcoma, the vets at East Valley showed no sense of urgency or concern to have the tumor removed or to amputate the toe. We weren't given specific instruction or recommendations regarding the severity of the tumor or a recommended course of treatmen... read more

We contacted you to apologize for you experience and to see how we can improve our client relations. Unfortunately our recollection of your visit differs from what you remember. A complete medical exam was performed and appropriate recommendations were made. We are very happy your pet got the treatment he needed and wish him a speedy recovery. If you would like to discuss this matter further by phone or in person we are available.

450$ for a "basic" neuter (no laser treatment)........this was my breaking point for leaving, after I was quoted 200$ a week before when calling the front desk. (Mind you...200$ is also to expensive for a basic neuter procedure..) I had been going to East Valley for the first 7 months of my pups life and unfortunately, the cost referenced above was a standard inflated rate for most services. Every step of the way East Valley was obscenely more expensive for basic care needed; from vaccinations,to routine vet visits for thin... read more
