I highly recommend Dr Lim for any procedure you may need! She is positive, thorough and very East to talk to. She's professional and very knowledgeable, giving detailed information abou procedures and all options for treatment. She is patient and obviously loves her job. My entire experience at this practice was wonderful--they are organized and friendly.
My daughter had all 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Reed. Our experience from making her first consultation appointment to the actual surgery was easy and low stress! Everybody was very friendly, supportive and professional. I had a concern once we got home and Dr. Reed got right on the phone to answer my questions. I would definitely recommend Eastside Oral Surgery!
I feel really bad for anyone suffering with teeth issues (I've personally been there!) and even though the prior post was negative, I don't believe it was entirely Dr. Reed's fault that he was being overly-cautious. In fact, I really respected Dr. Reeds attitude, his kindness, and his professionalism when he removed my son's 4 wisdom teeth a few weeks ago. From the moment we walked in the door (my 86 year old mom and me) - we new it would be a great experience. Very welcoming. Organized. Friendly. And then when we got to see Dr. Yu he was so kind to my mom. She has alzheimer's and he was very caring and respectful of meeting her where she is. It was overall a really heartwarming and kind interaction. Thank you so much.
I am disappointed that I am rating Eastside Oral Surgery as a 2. My previous experiences have been great. I had a tooth pulled (different, awful dentist) and came here to get an implant. I was told that I needed a bone graft first. Dr. Reed did that and the process was very easy and comfortable. My insurance didn't cover it so I had to pay for it myself. I would definitely recommend Eastside Oral Surgery Associates. They are all so caring and on top of everything! My dentist referred me to them and within minutes I got a call from them to schedule and they fit me in right away. Oral surgery went well however, Dr Reed was having difficulty inserting my IV. Got poked 3-4 times.. 2 of which he blew my veins causing tenderness, pain and swelling. At my follow up appt, he looked at it and jokingly said "let's get the amputation kit out". It's been a month now and my veins are still painful. As a experienced nurse I would recommend having a designated person to insert an IV if the first attempt is unsuccessful.
I needed to extract a tooth. A local lady recommended Dr Yu. I get a bit axiou when it comes to dentists. Some poor past experiences. So glad I changed oral surgeon as I was a bit skeptical on the first recommendation. Dr Yu & his team was great. I felt nothing and no complication, after the surgery. That is all I needed. Any future oral surgery, I will go to Dr Yu.
Dr. Yu is by far one of the best doctors/professional I have seen. For the past 3 years I have seen over two dozen dentists, surgeons and doctors. I guarantee as an honest broken person that needed medical intervention that he not only possesses the competence but also has and maintains absolute professionalism.
