Everything is wonderful, very happy. The staff is very accommodating, they really will do anything for you. They are really a lovely group. Mom is there. It has been an adjustment for her. Hoping that pretty soon she starts to really see it! She has her own apartment she has a kitchen and stove, but she eats all the meals in the dining room. I've eaten there a few times and the food is wonderful! So far everything is really working out.
Things have been going well, my mom is pleased with it and she gets housekeeping weekly. They've been good; I don't live in that area but when I've called they've been wonderful. For example, when my mom was sick she wasn't answering her phone so I called them and they went right up and checked on her and then called me to let me know she was okay. Very nice, also rooms had washer and dryer.
Father has lived here for about 4 years, the food is edible for the most part and the soups are outstanding for the most part, it is unfortunate that the servers have no protocol to follow so the most stressful part of the day is spent in the dining room, you have no idea what portion of the meal will come first and if it is as ordered, one day on of my tablemates got a piece of frozen fish and one day we were told they had run out or hot water for tea!! we recently got a letter about next years rent increase and were told i... read more
My father was living here for 6 months and just died of pneumonia, They have confirmed covid. They are unacceptably rude, a very very shady organization. They didn't even call us when he was transported to the hospital , where he died the next day without us even knowing. This place is a sham and I wouldn't send anyone I loved there. I am son of Embark in Lake Worth FL today I ask for 2 Keys to my Moms apartment for me and my brother . We are down here now because my mom got told she has Lung Cancer. This place is has been a bad choice ever since my mom moved in. The food has been the worst everyone complains about it. She get her food brought up to her apartment 11am for lunch by the time she opens it it’s cold. Dinner comes up at 4 pm cold again and not edible . BLDG IS OLD AND DOES SHOW WEAR. SOME ACTIVITIES ROOMS HAVE DOUBLE DOORS AND BOTH DOORS HAVE TO BE OPENED UP FOR A WHEELCHAIR TO GO THRU. FOOD IS PASSABLE, NOT BIG SELECTION. 3 MEALS INCLUDED.
dirty, cockroaches in the apartments and dining room AND our Mother just called. She fell and couldn't get up. Just spent six hours on the floor until she finally crawled to the phone and call us. We called front desk and ask them to go down and help her up. They said they couldn't, it was against the rules. They would have to call 911.
