After five years of living at Embark at Lake Worth, we had to move my sister into assisted living elsewhere as she required more services. Embark was the perfect transition as we were able to purchase additional services, such as bathing, laundry, etc., so that she could remain independent as long as possible. The location worked out great for her as she could walk to stores. The meal plan helped to keep her healthy. The management staff kept me informed as to how she was doing and that was greatly appreciated.
Embark at Lake Worth is an independent living building that goes way above and beyond for our residents. The staff has been around a long time which says a ton about the building and the caring individuals who work here. We chose Embark at Lake Worth because her friend is here and she recommended it. She also liked what the facility was able to offer. They do have a pool as well as well as a bird cage where she can go down and see them. The meals here are great and they do have a lot of variety when they are able to eat in the dining room. Felt a little tired and worn. I was not happy with the lack of fitness facilities. Thresholds at doors and step in showers were not appealing for my senior aged parents. [Name removed] the sales person is a gem.

With the prices they charge I would think someone would buy some white paint and make the entrance a bit more inviting. Paint was peeling and the place "looked" dirty in spots. Lunch was delicious, the apt was adequate, but nothing to write home about. ^The staff I met were delightful and knowledgeable.
As I was touring a place for my relative, the buildings at the facility seemed rather small compared to where I actually placed my loved one. The ground is pretty and when I visited they had bingo going on so I know they have activities offered for the residents. There is a hair salon on site as well as a store to pick up any necessities that you may need in case you ran out of something.
The staff have been very nice and accommodating. The food is very good and they keep the community very clean. They offer daily activities and I would recommend this community.
