The community is great and generally the building ... The community is great and generally the building is good. I would say that the rent price is too high for the general state of the building. Investment needs to be made in need new appliances. Sometimes things just feel old at the building which makes me want to look at other apartments.
Best Dog Friendly Apartment in Downtown Austin! My husband and I LOVE living at Gables West! Our apartment is in the perfect location and allows us privacy and an easy way to to get to the Shoal Creek Trail to walk our dogs. The Gables West Staff (Candi, Elyse and Gabby) took extra time when showing us our unit and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything. Incredible pricing for the location! I cant say enough great things about this place. Johanna has been my point of contact in the leasing office and she has done an incredible job of keeping me up to date with available units that match what I am looking for, and has been super responsive to all of my emails and questions. Great Downtown Apartment! Hi! I have lived at the Gables West Avenue for two years now in a two bedroom apartment. This is an awesome place to live at since the location is right in the heart of downtown. I mean who doesn't want to be right in the mix of everything? If you are looking to be central to Whole foods, Trader Joes, 6th street and walking distance to anywhere in downtown this is the place to live.
