They were amazingly wonderful to my kitten! They genuinely give the best care and love to your pet! I highly recommend.

I've been going to Ellicott for all my veterinary needs for about a decade and wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff have been consistently wonderful, especially with my highly anxious and unfriendly dog. Is Ellicott the cheapest vet in Buffalo? Probably not, but I wouldn't trust my animals with anyone else. We have received excellent care over the years from the front desk, vet techs and veterinarians. I absolutely LOVE Ellicott Street Animal Hospital! The downtown Buffalo building is historic, has loads of character, and is well maintained. The front desk staff are helpful and welcoming. The veterinary technicians are gentle and talented. All of doctors are thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. You can tell that everyone genuinely loves their jobs and the pets in their care! I am so happy that I found Ellicott Street Animal Hospital! I will never take my pets anywhere else!
Annual Wellness Exam and Nail Trim for my high anxiety, loved(spoiled), German Shepherd Gretchen went great! Dr, Techs and Assistants all worked with me to ensure the visit went well for Gretchen and let me be a part of the exam. Thank You for your patience, understanding and love of animals. XO
I can't say enough!! What a truly positive and amazing experience! The staff is so friendly and engaging not only with myself but my LARGE doberman breed. Every single person on staff acknowledged Dobey - where other animal hospitals comment on how large he is and approach him with hesitation! The Vet assistants - yes, multiple - came in and asked genuine questions about him, his health, his lifestyle, and his demeanor... commenting on how sweet he is (and handsome, too!) I am an anxious dog owner and am super happy with this practice. Everyone caring for my dog is super smart and kind. I have complete confidence that my dog will be well cared for and that I will be given good information delivered with compassion. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Great Veterinarian, amazing employees. One complaint around Chewy Prescriptions. I can't afford dog prescriptions via the vet. The cost is tremendous and some vets do get commissions. But I do not want to speculate on this one. Over all this place is stellar! Our kitten is a patient at West Side Pet Clinic. But when it came time for her to be fixed, our vet office does not do surgeries, and we were referred out to Ellicott Street Animal Hospital. We have always adopted older animals, so this was our first experience with a pet having this surgery. The only part of this process with Ellicott Street that was challenging was initially making contact.
