I think I've been had! Made a large payment January 27th for dental work that needed ordered. Was to be in within 2 weeks and never received a call. Went there today only to find they have been sold and they no longer have a dental lab. No answers. Just that they would call in a few days. Call? . . . . I need this work done Now. How can I rate this anything but terrible.

I gave 5 stars for knowledge because obviously the guy knows what he's doing. But I give 1 star for everything else and I'll tell you why. I had both of my bottom wisdom teeth removed last Tuesday. It was a PAINFUL procedure itself. Usually you're not supposed to feel a surgical procedure like that but I totally felt mine, especially when he was breaking up the tooth inside my gums and ripping them out. Currently, Dr. Gaukhman is no longer practicing dentistry in the State of Florida..... Is there a class action lawsuit in the works? Between my husband + myself I have paid $8,929.30 for services rendered and prepaid for some still to come!!! Now, we are now questioning if they were necessary??? It all began with a dental emergency. Dr. Gaukhman did not hurt me during an extraction and implants posts but I am wondering if a root canal would not have solved the problem of an abscessed molar??? Where can we find help? Okay enough about complaining we have to stop this guy ,stop posting and go to the DPR Department of professional regulation and report him ,sometimes when we're in an emergency will take whatever we can get especially if our Obama insurance provides for that dental care is really scary for all of us ,and it's not okay to suffer abuse on top of it . report this guy we can go all over the computer and complain we need to go to the board DPR.
Last week I had it some extremely expensive work done in his office , only to go home with severe pain. I called about four days later and asked to be seen to find out what was causing such extreme pain . He was very annoyed that I was even there and asked ME what I wanted him to do. I replied YOUR the one w/ the degree YOU tell me! His answer to my pain is that it's still sensitive where I drilled and take some Tylenol. This was the rudest dentist I have ever encountered. While the front desk folks were pretty nice they were not knowledgable. The dental assistant also had a sour personality. They immediately got annoyed with me because I didn't want to pay for tons of x-rays. After waiting 1.5 hours he tapped 3 teeth, told me I needed to see a specialist to get a root canal. After x rays, the doc told me I had three rotten teeth in front that needed extraction. We talked a bit, he wanted to do it immediately. I wouldn't allow that , then the estimate came in at $1800.00 which included temp replacements. They offered financing. A friend recommended a second opinion which I got the next day. The new doc said my teeth were fine and just needed cleaning. I have since learned that this practice (Venetian) has a terrible reputation around town and even with other dentists.
