I would not recommend Empire Training. They add classes to your schedule without asking you or checking if you already taken them. I drove all the way to Orlando from South Florida to take Hormone therapy/Pellet and the whole day it was an added class on sexual dysfunction that I already had taken with another vendor. They interrupt classes with vendors advertisements. The instructors are not always MDs. This course was mediocre at best. The lecture part was better than the hands on (if you can even call it that). The doctor presenting was good and i liked how she gave her tips and tricks about injecting. However she went through everything really fast and i really could’ve read all of that myself in the book and learned the same amount. Very disappointed. Went to NYC for their Sclero training. It was very basic but ok. The information was well presented but the presenter (who is a board member for Empire) would not demonstrate his injection because he was not a NY physician. I certainly understand this, but why was he ok with all of the students who were non NY clinicians participate in hands on? Also, This same instructor said the could meet requirements for CME. I brought my friend as a model, having been injecting before I know my placement was correct. 2 weeks later she looks the same....I paid 1k for this course and got bad product, tried calling twice no response.
Please be very very careful about this company. Their business practices are highly questionable to say the least. Their better BBB rating of an F is well warranted. As medical professionals desiring to enhance their practice please use caution if this in organization in which you want to be associated.
