Encompass Health as a whole works like a well oiled machine. The staff is exceptional and always coordinating with each other, their patients and their patients' families. When a specialist is needed, one arrives promptly with full knowledge of the patient's needs. They were so well equipped to deal with each and every one of my husband's issues as they presented themselves and never once acted as if it were a burden or something they were not equipped to handle. I found Encompass to be a great help in.my recovery from hip replacement! Their staff is very polite with concern of care for me. The only thing I would advise is to my sure Medicare will pay for your stay. I was told they would 0& unfortunately Medicare didn't cover the whole stay! Verify with Medicare first. Larry Swann

Very caring staff. Their rehab program and Physical Therapists are great! Came there for rehab from Revision Knee Surgery. They are wonderful in getting you back on your feet!

We had such a pleasant experience with Encompass during my 88 year old mother's stay in December. It's not often that we feel compelled to give them gifts on our departure, but we sure did with the staff there. From Sheree, the sunshine receptionist, to the CNAs, the nurses, the therapists, everyone was delightful and made my mother's stay much more pleasant and she felt that they truly cared about her. If I could give it a "0" I would. Staff did not follow doctors orders to check my husband's blood sugar thru the night. His blood sugar was so high is CGM reading was only high, that means it was over 400. This went on for over 12 hours, they did not give him any insulin for over 12 hours. I asked them to discharge him, they would only do it against medical advice. Finally screaming I told them I was calling 911and finally they did. That was my biggest mistake! This place is horrible please don't send a love one here no care no quality no anything My wife is paralyzed from waist down she had to ask to get cleaned they never changed her clothes at night you will see no one management don't care I could go on for hours but I will say when she asked to leave they made her sign a discharge and said find a way home best 300 I ever spent

I would NOT recommend this place. The pt there is a joke. My husband has been there twice and was sent home too soon/couldn't walk when he left there.

My mother left there worse than when she came in. Cuts and bruises all over her. The day I was to pick her up I was called an informed that she had been given two drugs that interact, and when I called back to ask how many times she was given these drugs together, Alexis the nurse supervisor, told me if I didn't like my mothers care I could come pick her up and leave. I did just that, and within two hours she was readmitted to the hospital and is still in the hospital. They released my mother in a horrible state, not walking... read more

This place seems to be looking for a lawsuit and/or the reputation as THE LEAST-CARING PROVIDER on the planet! What kind of place would even think to discharge a stroke patient into an unsafe environment? A patient with a trache still in place, too? ...And threaten placement in a facility with NO CARE, cold meals, and inhospitable environment. ...And even threaten police intervention?
