Get directionsBack in November 2021, this was the next to last stop for my 91 year old dad before he passed. The thought from his doctors was this facility would be able to rehabilitate him so he would be able to move about on his own. While the staff seemed knowledgeable and friendly, I believed (as well as my dad) that they really didn't care and were just there to go through the motions while getting paid. The meals were not tasteful (I tried at the suggestion of my dad). He was unable to do what they wanted, lost hope and then they s... read more
Our experience with this hospital has been one of the most negative we've dealt with for a while. There were false promises made before becoming a patient here. My mother was insulted. My sister sat in urine and nearly froze from the air conditioner. She has MS and body temperature regulation is everything. But the medical staff here were not aware of that. The staff retaliated against us, (I say we because it's my family - and I am included). There is an abuse of power, slander, and incompetence. To date, I have never heard... read more
My wife was admitted to increase strength and endurance. She did well until a weekend when she was left in bed. She actually lost ground. We decided to take her home. We started contacting those that could affect the release. We left several messages. It seems no one had time to return a call. Left several with Cass Lucas, a case manager, who apparently was much too busy to return a call during a 3 hour window of time and others as well. Finally called the corporate office in Birmingham, Al. We did like the Doctors here. ... read more

My very elderly parent was sent to this facility for an injury recovery. No one there seemed to understand or respect the intellectual limitations of an aged senior who was also being prescribed narcotics. As a legal caregiver, I was not informed or included. To get information was a ridiculous struggle and multiple phone calls and messages which were not responded to. As far as rehab, they looked at the fractures but never listened to complaints about a sore ankle. They treated the sore ankle with blood thinners as though ... read more

Do not send your loved here. My mother was prescribed pain killers during her stay. We were concerned about her drowsiness and asked that she was weaned off them. At the time of her release there was no script for these meds. They sent her home with no pain management. It took 3 hours to contact the doctor who said it was always the plan to stop these opioid meds at release. This was NEVER communicated nor was a lesser med script provided. If we had not complained, they would have sent an 80 year woman home with no pa... read more
This hospital is not equipped to handle patients with anything but your average knee replacement or average injury. Do not send your loved one if they cannot ambulate independently because patient care is terrible. There is not enough staff to answer call lights.
Worst place ever, I would not let a family member stay at this place and this is why: 1. my friend needed some water during and waited over 2 hours before getting some 2. He waited 2 hours for someone to assist him getting out of bed to go to the bath room and again nobody came and his walker had been moved to the far end of the room, finally he manage to get up made it to the bathroom. 3. he was there 4 day before his wound was looked at, 4 days with dirty bandages. 4. doctors would come in an out one would say one thing an... read more
Good physical therapy, which is a very brief part of the day. Good doctors, but nurses are not equipped to take care of the needs of patients & communication with family is poor, if at all.
My father went to Reliant after a lengthy stay in the hospital for rehab. The first night he was there, he called for assistance to get out of bed because of a bad leg cramp. When the nurses finally came, they told him he wasn't allowed to get out of bed (which was certainly not true) and that he would just have to try to ignore the pain. When the pain got worse and he called again, no one came and he tried to get up himself, which resulted in him falling and hitting his head. He then had to be taken to the emergency roo... read more
