My husband was admitted after a hospital stay for lung issues. I found this place for his rehab. It's super clean, and everyone was very professional. Everyone treated my husband with empathy and kindness. The rehab he received was top notch. I wish they offered out patient services...I can't say enough good things about this place and their staff. Beyond grateful for all the kind and super supportive spirit, and hard work they put in everyday. Great place!!

I am beyond grateful that we were referred to this place!! After being discharged from the hospital, our son was only referred to a orthopedic and PT/OT after a motorcycle accident. But when we took him home, we realized we were in way above our heads with his care. Having a cramp 2 story home, it just wasn't safe nor conducive to his recovery process. The reviews for the Cutler Bay facility in Miami all (or nearly all) have a common theme, which involves front counter employees having bad attitudes and being rude to visitors. Sometimes the nursing staff are criticized for the same reason. Today, I experienced that rude behavior with my two minor daughters that were trying to visit their grandfather. My mother suffered a stroke and she needed rehab. The hospital wanted to send her to places like the Sands in south beach, or ponce health in Miami. Those places are horrible. And by pure luck we found Encompass and she is now there in therapy. When we arrived at Encompass. we cried out of joy. People are smiling, they are treating her like a queen, everything is geared towards professional support to ensure fast recovery. Thank you encompass for existing.

Admission: we arrived on a Sunday evening from South Miami Hospital. The reception wasn't great, but we arrived before the shift changed. We waited a while anyone to come check vitals. Nursing: they are spread thin. The Nursing Assistant changed almost daily. They wanted to spend time with the patients, but they didn't have time. This Rehab is STATE OF THE ART ... The Rehab staff PT OT ST is so experienced and professional . The facility is clean and the food is good. My friend went in not walking and left walking and so much better ....... :)

Had a check up with my Doc. Lourdes Nunez. Since she's an attending here, her office is also located here too. I usually had to wait a long time to be seen, but today was seen quite quickly. Only made the app yesterday. I was in and out of there within 30 minutes. But I was seen by the PA. It's a lot quicker to get an appointment if you are seen by her. OT and PT staff as well as nurses and rtns are excellent. Take care of patients with tlc but the administrative staff is another story They give you the run around whenever you might have an issue such as wanting a private room or a special need for the patient. They are good at making up stories and think you are an idiot. Wish they were like the rest of the staff.
