Elaine Salagado is Unethical, Rude, and Lazy! She disregarded what I was experiencing and talked down to me. This is evident in the medical records as she has notes nonrelated to my visit. I reached out to her to revise the notes and she hung up on me! She is a disgrace to the medical profession.

My experience at this rehabilitation center was not only humiliating, but I felt a lack of dignity. Dr. Grant did not allow me to shower for 10 days, due to his lack of knowledge to where the surgical site was, despite the fact that my surgeon had already cleared me to take a shower. There was a huge communication barrier between myself and the nurses. On the other hand, the physical therapist, occupational therapist and speech therapist were absolutely amazing.It's too bad they don't do outpatient there.

Wow what a horrible place. Mary working the front was extremely rude. We had gotten approval from the manager an hour before to allow myself and mother to see my grandfather at the same time. When we arrived she refused. Did not want to call the manager to see if it was approved. Refused to do anything. She lied and said only the CEO can approve it. And refused to help. My husband was her for 1 week after having a stroke. They told us he would be discharged on a Friday and would start in home therapy. His case manager gave us the name of the agency and said they would contact us over the weekend. No call. I called the agency Monday morning and was told they didn't have anything for him. They were waiting on the insurance authorization. I reached back to our case manager and explained what was happening. She said she couldn't help with the authorization. Lethargy from employees and motivation is a factor. Poor communication between departments. Spaces are clean just tired looking. Lack of management is evident.

The only positive aspect of this facility is the physical therapy. The nursing staff is very insensitive the assistants are really rude and the facility in itself is filthy. I had to tell house keeping how to clean my room. The A/C has been out for the last 5 days and they have a portable germ spreader in here. This food is worse that school lunch and Morrisons should be ashamed. The kitchen manager is horrible at what she does which is I'm guessing nothing. Ifyou have another choice

do not let any one you love go this facility. The care was terrible, nurses were incompetent and unfriendly and the place was filthy. I don't know what happened to his hospital, my grandmother was a patient in 2014 and the place was awesome. It has completely gone down the drain. There must have been a change in administration because it's totally noticeable. Do NOT LET YOUR LOVE ONE STAY HERE. This place sucks the nurses are horrible they do not care for the patients here. They are very rude and mean to you . They act like they are doing you a favor. I will be making a formal complaint to the head quarters .

My mother suffered a massive stroke and is now paralyzed on the right side and cannot speak. After a few days at South Miami hospital (which was great) we came here because of amazing reviews. My mom's first day (after arriving at 12:30 in the morning) resulted in a LARGE hematoma on her right leg. Notified the nurse and the dr finally came and looked at it at 4:00 the next afternoon.
