This property was extremely clean and safe! I had my things stored for 6 weeks and the customer service was excellent the management was always attentive and polite when I was on site. I enjoyed having my first month free of charge and the management even gave me complimentary boxes from their display when they were changing them out. If I ever need another storage facility I will come back to this very location!

This is the cleanest storage facility I have ever seen, with good lighting, locked doors, carts for moving, and a gate that requires an access code. Even though another tenant told me that several ground-floor units were burglarized, I feel completely confident leaving my property there. Be aware, though, that they charge exorbitant fees of 20% or $37.50, whichever is higher, if they receive your payment even one day late. It's best to schedule automatic payments if renting here.

I was going to go with Public Storage but after seeing their facility on Bolton Road, I decided I needed to see other options. This facility seems to be brand new, is in a great location. My things were being delivered in an 18 wheeler and no problem with access. Price was comparable to Public Storage. The manager and gentleman behind the counter had excellent customer service skills.

From my initial reservation to my actual move, this location was on point! Particularly Jainet, she was especially knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. I have never put stuff in storage before and did not really have any sort of expectations except that my possessions would be safely housed. When I visited the unit prior to my move, I asked Jainet very candid questions about security concerns and any risks involved with storing my belongings. The minimum expected of a storage facility is the safe keeping of your stuff. Extra Space does not provide this. Instead of contacting my niece when they knew their water pipes burst and repairs were made, they did nothing. It would be expected that the owners of the rented units would be contacted to check for water damage and mitigate any damage that was created. I would not recommend this Extra Space facility to anyone. I am beyond horrified by my experience with this facility after my storage unit got water damage from a burst pipe. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. Although I tried to resolve my issue with Extra Space directly, they have ignored me since I asked if my rent could be reimbursed for the time that my unit sustained damage. Moved my stuff into this 10x10' unit 10/23. Paid 4 months in advance and was told the monthly rate would be $86.00month. I thought I was signing up for a year and would be paying monthly after the first 4 prepaid months. SURPRISE!! They ONLY have month-to-month leases and they can raise your amount ANYTIME THEY WANT TO. My new rate will be $172.00 a month. More than double what they told me it would be. That is fraud. Called to discuss with the franchise and was told that yes, this is how they do business.

First, I say this review is not directed to the employees as much as the company that they work for "EXTRA SPACE STORAGE". I was under the impression that this company and it's staff were trustworthy and customer driven. FALSE, I was told that my first month was free, with no mention of partial payments not being returned to consumer that move out 23 days before the free month is expired.
