First, I say this review is not directed to the employees as much as the company that they work for "EXTRA SPACE STORAGE". I was under the impression that this company and it's staff were trustworthy and customer driven. FALSE, I was told that my first month was free, with no mention of partial payments not being returned to consumer that move out 23 days before the free month is expired. I wish that I could rate this place a big fat ZERO. Beware of the huge rat infestation that renters were NOT MADE AWARE OF. We have $1000s of damages and we are not done removing our personal belongings. Rats ate through the leather of most of my shoes. This places policies are a joke. I wish I'd read the reviews and looked at the Better Business Bureau website about the number of complaints with this company. As other reviewers point out, they bait and switch with your rate. Contract states they can change your rate "due to market changes or for any other reason at any time...". You can count on a hefty increase shortly after moving in. My entire storage unit of belongings was DESTROYED by RODENTS. Extra space did nothing. Thousdands of dollars worth of items plus paintings my grandfather did 60 years ago. Destroyed. TOTAL NIGHTMARE.

Extra Space Storage relies on a business model that is NOT consumer friendly. They bait you with the "web" rate, or "flash sale" but expect increases within a matter of months between 10-15%. I have had my rental unit for a year now, it went from $85, to $100 and now increased to $111, all within one year. The exorbitant rental increases are unwarranted and unethical, but this is a business practice they have been at for years, in facilities across the country.

they call it easy space storage because once you get robbed there you have tons of storage. CLASS ACTION SUIT dont rent here or lose everything. the management is joke. only cameras at doors. ask to see them unit picked unlocked and then locked called gm 9/5/2018. no returned call as of 9/29/18
Be warned that the fee hiking practices of this facility are very crooked. Please Google reviews at Consumer Affairs and you will see over 100 complaints about how they will summarily raise your fees over $40-50 without any notification! I recently experienced an increase from $308 to $346 without any notification. I had to call corporate office to register a complaint as local personnel have no ability or leverage to handle complaints. The facility is clean and is secure. This review is for Extra Space Storage and not the specific Chattahoochee Ave location. Extra Space increased my monthly charges without giving me any written notification (which is required in my contract). I also told them up front that I would be renting the unit for one year, and they told me the monthly charge would be $127. If I could give this facility zero stars I would. After having a unit there and paying almost $200 dollars a month, I tried contact the facility to discuss some changes that needed to be made to my account . The customer service from The get go was horrendous .... if you need help with anything they give a poor attitude and act as if it is not important .
