RecommendedI was completely floored when I got notification my monthly rate of $88.00, after only 4 months was doubling. I was reminded about the contract I signed, which stated the rate could go up. It also said that the going rate for my unit was roughly 150.00 per month. Well the new rate was even higher than that. I called and spoke with Ladonis. I am devastated. I trusted this facility to keep my stuff safe but instead I am out thousands of dollars and lost items that can’t be replaced due to sentimental value. The building is NOT climate controlled like they claim. It was 82° outside and the building was at LEAST 20° hotter. Because of this, almost all of the items in my unit were covered in mold and rodent urine. I have never written an online review before, however the last several hours have shown me that this business in negligent and unresponsive. I feel obligated to warn others to stay away. My unit flooded due to poor maintenance and the situation has been handled terribly. We received a call this evening (5:45 PM) to let us know that our unit had flooded the day prior at the extra space storage facility in Annapolis.
