Warren, who was there at the office upon arrival, was very pleasant and helpful. He has nothing to do with the rest of what I will say... This is the second time I've used Extra Space - but a different location. I love their rates, however the information on rates is all over the place. Online, the site always claims to have "1 left!!!" That seems to never be true for them. Customer Service is a service that was not provided well today. The "ASSISTANT MANAGER" Jason Simmons was not pleasant and was slightly rude; he raised his voice as he rambled on and on and didn't really take the time to hear what I was asking him. When he was done being defensive and providing the absolute worst customer service; I asked my question and he said "why didn't you say that". They do NOT have 24/7 access as they claim and they raise rates after just a few months. Units are trashy with holes in the walls and lack basic maintenance. I'll be moving out as soon as I find another place.

Be aware that if you see an advertisement or get an online rate quote on a storage space from Extra Space Storage, it is not correct. I reserved a space for $24 a month (the smallest size, 5x5). When I arrived, though, I found out there was an additional charge for insurance, manditory, for $13 a month. False advertisement if you ask me. I'd rather deal with a company that is up front about their prices, and dosen't hide fees.

Please if you value the items your storing do not use this facility!! I had 90% of my items stolen from my unit and when I called the manager he was rude and useless showed no compassion and refused to help other than lecture me about how this is mostlikely my fault basically accusing me of theft and when asked if 30 days was my only option simply said yea and did not tell me that I only had to give 2 days noticed and wont refund my money that I just paid for the month even though im completely moved out of my unit and its ... read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE COMPANY! They will rip you off! They get you in at a low rate, then immediately raise your rate over $20.00+ a month! THEN they tell you if you leave your unit clean when you vacate...you will get your money money back that you are OWED....they NEVER PAY YOU BACK! I moved out in April and they owe me over $100.00 and they keep saying they will pay me and never send me a check! Go somewhere else they are a rip off! BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!
