If I had the option to give negative stars, I would. I just went to clear my storage unit out and 90% of my stuff is destroyed from rats. I'm so freaking livid! Moving is already a major pain in the ass and now I have to deal with this too. I'm so so so upset.

im updating this review because everything that i stored in my two units was either urinated on by rats or eaten by them. half of what i stored had to be trashed. 0 stars. i was helped by anddy and it was a great experience! he's super funny and was very helpful. currently have 2 storage units there and i've never had a problem. i recommend it!

I've rented at other Extra Space Storage facilities before and have had good experiences. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience at the Slaughter Creek facility and would not recommend it. I reserved a storage unit online and received an email confirmation with move-in instructions and the monthly fee. When I arrived to the facility, though, the manager tried to charge an additional registration fee. Non-communicative, Rigid, inflexible, non-cooperative with a thorough lack of customer service and overall a very bad experience. Would not recommend it... Skip it and go somewhere else.
