Tried to get some help today, during business hours, about a leak in my unit. Door was locked, lights on. Waited, knocked, hollered thru the mail slot. No one was there. Called the 888-storage number. No answer there either. Customer service sucks! I called the 805/497-2185. It's the same as the 888 number. Since I still had not heard from anyone, I went to the office. Opened late, still no apology. Was told that the white dust from the leak in my unit was paint. Due to a dear friend's Mom's sudden death from an intracranial hemorrhage--which then necessitated a relocation of belongings--on April 20, 2016, I went to this Storage Unit. I STILL feel profoundly upset with them and feel only that they are cheating the public. After less than an hour of paying cash, they refused to pay me back in cash what I had initially given.
