Great clean storage unit. It's really nice to have a parking area and entrance that's covered so if you're moving things and the weather is not favorable it won't impact the process. Ultimately, especially if you live or are moving to downtown Baltimore I recommend using this storage place as it affords you quick access to things you might not always want in apartments that are most likely smaller than if you lived further outside of the downtown area. I called this morning to get info., pricing, etc. Within a couple of minutes, I received a call from Nataki at the Eastern Ave. location & I agreed to meet her in person. Nataki was the epitome of excellent customer service. She was friendly, upbeat, and informative. She clearly loves her job & takes pride in the facility, which is well-maintained, clean & bright. I chose a unit & signed a contract on the spot!

As a professional mover, I've visited more storage facilities than I can count. This one is one of the more clean and easy ones. Danielle in the office went far above and beyond. She was extremely helpful and to say friendly would be an understatement!

Yvette at Extra Space Storage has always been very helpful and attentive to my needs at her facility. She is polite, kind, and helpful. The facility is clean and brightly lit.

Helpful and attentive staff, from reservation to check in. Impressive customer service, both on the phone, and in person. Very interesting people as well. The movers who were moving people out leave much to be desired. They may be physically tired, but that doesn't mean you should be careless when it comes to sharing crowded space. Johnathan was very helpful on the phone and in the office, the location is very clean, access is secure but doesn't take me long to get to my second floor unit. Also, although I haven't needed anything yet, they have a good variety of packing materials in the office. I'm new to storage units so the cost for the space still has be a bit down, but from looking online, the cost is only slightly higher than some other locations that have less desirable locations.

My wife had called ESS and set it up for me since I live on the left coast. I needed a space close to Johns Hopkins Hospital but not close to the rioting. ESS was in perfect location for me. The manager Patricia called ME to introduce herself! Which I thought was very nice. When I arrived I dealt with her coworker Jonathan. He was very professional and friendly with me and that's not easy after finishing a two month long project away from home. The ESS was very clean and safe. Great place.

The location is convenient to the 21230 area. Cleanliness is so so, from what I recall the gal who assisted me mentioned the staff was in transition which may explain the messiness.. 3 stars for her being super helpful and working solo the day I rented my storage unit.
