Extra Space has fine enough storage units, but they will increase the rates on you consistently. I signed at $65 for up for a 10x10 unit. It was increased to $75, $90, $105, and I just looked to see a charge of $165. I thought it was an error, only to call and find out that it was a legit rate increase!! I was furious. They are supposed to give you a 30-day notice on changes. Apparently they sent me a letter that I never got, rather than send me an email like all my other notifications from them. I looked around for rates and Extra Space-Lehi was $80 per month. Three months after I moved our things in, and without notice, they DOUBLED the rent. When I called they apologized profusely, but did nothing. I had everything removed. Never again.

I will say this place is kept clean and it's easy to access when needed. I however have been very irritated with the price increases that they constantly do. I signed up for my unit in April of 2020 and was paying $63 a month with insurance. Every 3-4 months they raised the prices by $5 or so. This month though they sent me a paper in the mail saying that my units price will now be $136 with insurance. Don't trust your stuff with extra space storage. This past summer I rented a storage shed. They told the manager Jayce lived there so my stuff would be extra safe. My storage shed was broken into and about 4,000 worth of stuff was stolen. They don't have security cameras or surveillance cameras of any kind so the police can't do anything. What storage facility doesn't have surveillance cameras? They also didn't offer me any compensation at all or they wouldn't offer to help.
