A friend rented this storage unit for me initially as I was leaving the state. When it came time to switch the unit into my name, it was quite the odyssey or comedy of errors. After several calls to management, a trip to the facility by my friend to switch the unit over, followed up by a written agreement that management supplied for us both to sign, noting the change, my friend still kept getting calls and emails about payment for the unit. Zero stars. This place should be shut down for fraud. Crazy that a business can lie to your face to take your money. Get ever my single thing they say in writing! They literally lie, speak to customers as if they are incompetent, raise rates extensively, and steal your money. 1st Lie- Before move in, manager Ray told me on the phone that once my rate went up I could call and they would, as a curtesy, drop it back down to the online rate. In the end, I'm glad I'm out and I will stay out. "Climate controlled" is a euphemism for "We keep our swamp at 80 degrees." Everything I had that made out of paper was ruined by its storage in this unit. The furniture molded and ended up in a dumpster And those great rates. Look for the 10% annual price increase no less than once per year... The mandatory insurance? The coverage looks like swiss cheese and the $1000 limit is laughable. So, yea. I had moved out of my apartment and decided to put my furniture in storage for a few months (March-August). When I removed my belongings and found that my sectional and ottoman had significant damage from what seems to be their cooling systems/water. One part of the sectional looked like water had dripped on it consistently for the entire time it was in storage. I would suggest you only use this place for max 6-7 months. Its nice to have air-conditioned units, but they raise their prices too often and it doesn't matter if you stay for a longer time. I am going to have to find a new place as this place is getting more expensive. Im curious at what point enough is enough?
