I have a unit at the storage facility on West Main Street in Stamford, CT. Every month I receive an email that they have successfully charged me for my unit but yet there was no communication to let me know that the gate to the storage facility is down. The first time I got there and saw it was broken was over three weeks ago and as of this past Monday it still has not been fixed. renters beware!!!!! plan on rent increases within 2 months. it has almost doubled. theft by deception. do not rent from this company.

Stored extra furniture and small kitchen appliances here for 12+ months in a 10x10 on the 3rd floor of the main climate controlled building. Unfortunately there was mice damage to one item and lots of mouse feces in the unit, on lamp bases etc and in one of my rolled carpets. Management when requested would not reimburse a $250 claim citing I didn't buy their insurance, however one would expect that a professional operation not to have rodents. What an absolute disaster! I called on January 7 and spoke with a woman named Jean Ann in HQ to reserve a 10x10 climate controlled unit. She was nice enough and informed me they would hold a unit for me until 1/19 at a price of $154/month or $217/month (with the first two months free) at the Stamford Main Street location. I came in and rented a unit the staff was wonderful. I came in a week later to cancel my unit, (never put anything it or put a lock on the unit), they told me I didn't get any reimbursement!!! I just think that is terrible customer service. So, I'm out $200!!!

DO NOT STORE YOUR THINGS HERE!!! I have just taken my winter clothes out of storage from this place. They were infested with moths! Bugs chewed holes in almost all of my winter clothes. I called the manager, Raymond. He gave me the phone number of his insurance company and told me to argue with them. He absolutely refused to pay for any damages at all.
