Customer service is excellent. I rented a space the day I bought a trailer. Good pricing for a long term rental space. I wish the spaces were a bit wider. I only have about a foot or so on each side of my trailer which makes backing in a bit of a challenge. By the railroad tracks, so the area is a bit run down, but seems safe in the lot.

They did a fantastic job went above and beyond what I would've normally expected from a company. helped me with finding solutions for hauling out all my leftover unwanted furniture really made it easy and a pleasure.

I'm finally getting around to this review. But it's worth the wait. Overall I had a very good experience with this Extra Space Storage facility. Before I moved to Roseville from the Bay Area I checked out many storage facilities and this one met all my requirements. I was able to easily reserve my space well before the move. A great deal was going on so I took advantage of it. It was for 3 months and the first month was free. Granted you are required to purchase insurance and a lock but still a good deal. We have had this storage unit for about a year and when we went today we were horrified. There was rat poop and even dead rats in our unit. We immediately called the person onsite, who came to look but they admitted there was nothing they could do beyond offering a customer protection plan. Six of our boxes and bags were destroyed by rats. We are absolutely disgusted and upset that our belongings were ruined like this. Had the storage unit for a few months and then they decided to double my rate. I understand it can fluctuate a little but double is crazy!
Cameras should be down every isle. Our unit was broken into. They were able to tailgate another person through the gate. Make sure insurance is enough to cover your belongings. I was told no camera by my unit yet they know what vehicle it was.
Don't use this storage facility unless you are fine with with your property being stolen and destroyed. Within a month of using this facility my unit was literally sawed open (the thieves unscrewed the metal backing of the unit next to mine and then proceeded to saw through the wall to get into my unit) Everything was picked through, property was destroyed, and several items were stolen.
