RATS! RATS! RATS! RATS! RATS! RATS! Rats and maggots ruined hundreds of dollars of my personal belongings. Manager is aware of the problem but apparently has no solution. I was forced to move at great expense but was only compensated for half of the month that was unused. Homeless living in units, bathing in the driveways. Driveways blocked by tenants spreading their belongings and working on cars. Not San Francisco 10250 N. 19th Ave. Phoenix, AZ.

This is a convenient and easily accessible storage facility which I chose in part for the price. My experience with the local management when signing up was efficient, friendly and easy. HOWEVER, within several months of renting my space they sent me a monthly rate increase of 15%. They have every right to do that under the rental agreement, but it sure feels like a bait and switch (given the initial competitive rate). Beware.
UPDATE: So like some of the other reviews I found they raised the rent within just a few months. I forgot to make a payment, (Jan 5th after the busy holiday season) and then stopped getting the email reminders. I received an email 32 days later and called right away. I had already been charged an $85 Lein Sale fee that per Gary the manager "could not be taken off". I called the 800 number and the district manager Anthony called me back a few days later. Stay away from this place. Yes I have several axes to grind. This location is on a street with many other storage options. The facility is nothing special. The lighting in the hallway where my storage unit is located doesn't work. I was promised it would be repaired - 4 months ago when I moved in. Makes it difficult to visit the unit after dark, which is pretty early in Phoenix in the winter. This location (April 2012) is undergoing a blacktop renovation and repainting.
