It was our first time renting a storage unit. After shopping around to see what best suited what we needed for storage. We decided to reserve a unit to check out Extra Storage Space. We were pleasantly surprised with everything at Extra Space Storage. Seth was very professional and friendly. Seth made it really simple to understand everything there is to know about renting a storage unit and his spreadsheet was very impressive an made it easy to understand the cost breakdown! Keep up the amazing customer service Seth!

Being Military and have to move so quickly and not getting a mover in time is stressful. But this place and the manager has helped me out greatly! I was able to look at the unit right away and get everything complete in less then 15 minutes. I know my stuff will be safe and secure with easy access for moving companies!

Found ExtraSpace Stoeage while I was doing some cheap reasonable calling around! They were the cheapest storage lockers I found! Also they had a special going on for $35 a month un real!!! Cheapest rates in town, thanks to Candace she was quick,friendly and on top of it love working with her ask for her she helped me thank YOU EXTRA SPACE STORAGE IN MOANALUA

Or storage space was broken into during tsunami warning. Lower floors and lift were being renovated. Extra speakers added instead of cameras. Go figure. I paid for sufficient insurance, and even though police report had been filed and thieves caught on camera, Extra Space has been given to us the runaround regarding stolen items which included thousands worth of tools. Extra Space Storage usually has great employees and customer service. We've been to a lot of storage units around the island for our business and tend to rent 3-4 at a time occasionally. Today was not a normal day at this extra space storage. We were met by Stephen (long hair skinny guy) who was sitting in the dark in the corner by the wall. We have stored our items here since 2019. In the past two years, our rate has nearly tripled, which we assured it would not when selecting this facility. We pay for a temperature controlled environment. They had issues with their a/c unit and the facility got hot. With Hawaii's humidity, some of our items molded. We filed a claim and they said they do not cover mold. Do not go with this facility. You may very well end up regretting it like we have. We are done with this place.

I just noticed my next months payment is increased $21.98. I haven't received an email or call regarding that increase. I called the office and I was informed that my increase is due to its equitable value so the price is increasing while a new customer can come in and rent the same space at $99 with a free month. WHY? LEGAL? POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE? Covid has rental cars increase a $89/day car rental to $525/day, restaurants are adding a Covid fee to your bill without asking or informing customer, and now Extra storage that ... read more
