Beware with this storage place. My unit was broken into not once but twice in a matter of months. Not only was my unit broken into when it rained my unit leaked from the roof and all my items where wet. Made a report with management according to them "it was fixed" now here we are AGAIN!! Water leaked whatever is left of my items from a week ago when the unit was broken into got all wet. DO NOT RENT A SPACE HERE! THEY WILL STEAL MONEY/ITEMS FROM YOUR UNIT. My gf rented a space here and was tricked into using a lock provided by the guy at the front desk (the agreement she signed said she was supposed to provide her own lock - she didn't see that part of the agreement). I say she was tricked into using a lock provided by them because she didn't know any better. I am new to renting out storages and just recently I was looking on Yelp for a storage to rent. I came across this place. Gio was super helpful and answered all my questions. Only reason why I give it a star. I rented out storage #0104 right next to the door. The next day I came in to bring more of my things. I was just super happy because I had a place to store my things. I found my things out of place and few of my things were stolen. I hate to leave a bad review because everything started off great. On site staff was friendly and getting setup was easy. After four months they raised our rent 25% without notification. I called to ask why and they said they notified me via the mail. Never received that. The reasoning is that they reassessed the value of the unit and increased the rate. If you visit that locations website, you'll see they are currently renting my exact size unit for half of what they are charging me. Probably would have stayed, but man, the... read more

They do not prorate your monthly rate even if you move out with 21 days left for the month. You have to give a 10 day notice for a prorate otherwise they will refuse. This was not told to me at move-in. Had furniture in storage here for a few months and everything was extremely dusty and dirty. Prepare for everything to accumulate a ton of dirt and dust in this facility. Overpriced storage facility

Well, as unfortunate as it may be, I must again give Extra Space Storage on Main St a 1-star review. Against my better judgement I removed my previous 1-star review for this establish (due to finding a MOUSE in my unit) because the management essentially paid me to (free month rent), but this review certainly won't be pulled down regardless of their response. Also, if anyone is interested in photos of the mouse I still have them. I wish had to remove the dead mouse myself due to their unresponsiveness. For whatever reason, ... read more
