My husband and I were in a pinch and needed access to our unit, although closing time was approaching. After carrying our belongings for blocks and hoping for the best, we met Adam who was gracious enough to let us in despite having just closed for the evening. He saw us in need and stayed behind longer to help us out after what I'm sure was already a long shift. This place cares, thanks Adam!

Moving can and is stressful. Thank You Extra Storage for taking the weight of my shoulders. I am moving to NYC from out of state. I was not aware that finding a right storage will be as hard as finding an apartment. I just purchased a unit over the website. When I arrived, it became clear that the unit that was held for me was not close to the dimensions I paid for. What could have been a tense and unpleasant situation was instead handled excellently by their on site staff! Ivanna G was able to find me a suitable unit, transfer the acct, and set me up, all while dealing with multiple customers and being the only employee on site. I needed to downsize my unit. Stacy D. was extremely helpful and patient in showing me alternatives and explaining the various sizes available and differential price points. Additionally when I decided on the smaller unit, she ensured that the new unit was clean, prior to my moving my items. Both Stacy and Jasmine were extremely helpful in helping to facilitate access to the elevator during my move between units (different floors). The pricing is a huge issue. They increase rates rapidly and accept no argument against them. They continue to leave comments on posts apologizing for the inconvenience and say they "appreciate this feedback to improve our experience," but it's all to pacify. I do not recommend the company at all, and the staff is regularly unpleasant at multiple locations.

THESE PEOPLE ARE THE WORST!!! Rodent infestation AND unhelpful staff!! They refuse to tell me the person I should contact about my storage unit being full of rodent nests!! One star is too high!
