The management of Philip and Cheyanne is outstanding, and the offer a secure, clean facility. The hours are great, and getting in and out is easy. I appreciate the cleanliness of the whole place, and everything seems fresh. Most importantly, the security pads that are used upon entering and exiting are top quality. They Solana Beach team here at Extra Space Storage is very helpful and seems to always have time to answer any questions of concerns I may have. I'm grateful to have found them.

Philip Cloughesy and Cheyanne Cherne have made my experience at Extra Space Storage outstanding! I've rented my unit for over two years and it was previously under Solana Beach Storage management before it was taken over by Extra Space. I had serious concerns about the acquisition, however, the level of service I've received and the care and understanding has been excellent. Each time I've had a request or needed help, they've exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this storage location!

Best customer service ever. Philip is the guy. I was in and out in 5 minutes. He was alone and still not panicking about the situation, Explained all gates locations and how you drive around make sure you are not lost. 10-star service, Thanks Philip

Outstanding customer service!!! Jasmine and Phil are wonderful - so personable and approachable! As an active duty, military couple, my husband and I have used a variety of storage facilities and services over the last decade. Extra Space Storage is simply THE BEST. They've brought absolute peace into our lives during a time that has been incredibly stressful. Thank you!!

I would not recommend this place at all! There's no air conditioning, the units are not secure as I had my storage broken into and I am still waiting for a response from corporate. As a company, you cannot falsely advertise that it is a secure place when there are multiple reviews on Google about storage units being broken into. Staff is nice but there is not any sense of urgency to protect people's stuff as they seem to take interest when you first sign up. I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Extra Space Storage was disappointing enough that I feel others should be warned. When I initially rented a unit, I specifically asked if the facility had air conditioning - not just "climate control" - and was assured multiple times over the phone that it did. Based on that confirmation, I moved all my belongings in, only to find out after the fact that the unit had no AC. If I could give zero stars, I would. I rented a unit at Extra Space Storage in Solana Beach (Unit 8165) and found what looks like termite damage inside. When I brought it to the manager's attention, the response was dismissive and defensive. No urgency. No offer to bring in a licensed pest inspector. Just denial and excuses. Philip and Cheyenne continued to charge me after cancelling and leaving. I followed all rules and out on time, as told by each of them in person they know I've cancelled. was still charged after done with this service. out on time. was told wont be charged again and was paid in full. was here for one month and told need to pay second month too- utilizing this storage unit.
