This used to be owned by a different company. When the new owner took over the cost of my storage space went up over 20%. I understand a slight increase year over year occurs, but this is ridiculous. Looking for a new storage space now.
Solana Beach storage (who were the best storage company ever) was bought out by Extra Space Storage this year and I have not had a good experience so far. They initially charged me extra for insurance I did not elect, and wouldn't let me remove it unless I came in to the office in person which I did. On top of charging heavy late fees, they randomly increased my rent this month to $500/month from $400. Do not recommend and am looking for a more affordable storage unit.
