I dislike storing things but if I must do it I will only do it with extra space storage. I had to store mostly studio lights and a few personal items. The manager at your 5855 Centinela LA Location is absolutely amazing. Vera! I had booked a unit and went to put my things in the other to see that her location was around the corner from my place. Convenient location and good price made me choose this facility. My mover said he was impressed with the actual unit as the rafters were higher than usual units he's seen, allowing more boxes to be packed inside. Now for the not-so-good things: 1) their security code system is busted so the unique code I was given isn't working. I was given a generic code that is being shared to all new customers so right now, there's no way to track who's coming/going based on that code. Great place for storage. Cathy in the office helped us find the right size unit for our downsizing to our new home. I really appreciate the customer service and easy location of the unit.

Moved in end of July - just got a $100 rent increase 4 months later - WTF. I know all all places have rent increases but usually it's minimal and after 6 mos or a year - this is unacceptable and I will be vacating my unit before the increase takes effect - thanks for gauging your customers!

What do ya know - I called and after the front desk realized who I was, she said the manager would call me back immediately. That was a week ago, no call, no apology, AND they had my storage unit still LOCKED a week after we had paid the *past due balance* - the guy working said it was weird that they hadn't updated him since it had been paid.

Not only did I get a 100% rent increase after just a couple months of being a customer, and am just now learning that this happens after your first two to three months of being a customer, but if this was not audacious enough, get this - they had the nerve to give me the 100% increase in addition to: Bathroom not working - so get ready to leave the site and drive to a restaurant or some other place with a public restroom for non-customers; door doesn't stay open on the magnet so as I, and many others I saw, were bringing in ... read more
