I was not supposed to pay for my Lense or frame. My insurance Davis said that I was due for both free with insurance. I wanted no extras just regular reading glasses and the lady put it upon herself to add something on my Lenses to get some kind of commission. The glasses/frame are cheaply made, and I should have learned from the last time I went there. I went here only because of the convenience that it is near my job. Very upset/not satisfied customer!

The prices are extremely high. Even with insurance.
I would not recommend Eye Q Optique on Taylor Street. The prescription I received was terrible—I still can't see properly with my new glasses. In fact, my old glasses, which I brought in, worked better than the ones prescribed after the exam. To make matters worse, there were several unexpected upcharges added after the exam, which made the experience even more frustrating. Between the inaccurate prescription and the extra fees, I felt like I wasted both my time and money. I will never return and would not recommend this off... read more
